ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Dr. Kyleigh! I am a registered clinical psychologist in Alberta and specialize in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults. I developed my expertise while being trained and working in several outpatient mental health programs and medical clinics across the country, including two major paediatric hospitals. I am a clinical supervisor at the University of Calgary Psychology Clinic, where I provide supervision to Clinical Psychology graduate students.
I have a passion for mental health policy and evidence-based practice. I am employed by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), where I work as a manager for the Institute for Neurosciences, Mental Health, and Addiction based at the University of Calgary. Prior to joining CIHR, I researched key priority areas in youth mental health, such as: access to mental health care, transitions in care, and primary care. I led projects in Ontario and Alberta, and across Canada, to better understand how young people use mental health services over time.
I grew up in St. Thomas, Ontario. My favourite activities include spending time in the mountains, skating, and playing tennis.
